In 2010, she was invited by the Wiesbaden State Theatre to write and direct a play. Her Afife Award-winning play Limping Tales from Istanbul was staged in Catalan at the GREC Festival in Barcelona in 2017, marking the first time a Turkish playwright’s work was included in the festival’s program.

In 2018, House of Hundred, which she wrote, directed, and staged, was realized as a co-production with Maxim Gorki Theatre in Germany and Theatre Neumarkt in Switzerland. In 2019, the play was listed by The Guardian among the “Top 10 Plays You Should See.”

In 2021, her screenplay Truth and Other Blindspots, co-written with Melisa Önel and Melisa Üneri, received first prize in the Nem TV Screenwriting Competition.

Her recent play Sand Lilies was staged as a Zorlu PSM Studio production.

Between 2023 and 2025, as part of a Playwriting Program developed with Portugal, her play Aksak Delirium was translated into Portuguese and English; it was presented as a staged reading in collaboration with Porto State Theatre and A Turma, and published in Portuguese.
