2014

The Play City Project was realized as a collaboration between GalataPerform / New Text New Theatre and the Lublin Culture Centre / Konfrontacje Theatre Festival. Within the scope of the project, playwrights Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk (Poland), Pavlo Arie (Ukraine), and Özen Yula (Turkey) came together to develop plays inspired by Istanbul.

Özen Yula’s play The Worst of the Most Beautiful Planets was presented to the audience as a staged reading as part of the New Writing New Theatre 3 program.

As part of the project, two Playwriting Workshops were also held, where Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk, Pavlo Arie, and Özen Yula shared their personal writing practices and experiences.
