We learn life from our families. Everything we are able—or unable—to do later in life appears before us in the forms we first encountered there. And every family has its secrets. After the father’s death, a family searching through its own secrets in the hope of beginning a “new life” confronts the past and the present, as well as dreams and reality, in this darkly comic story.

Written by Can Özden as part of the New Text New Theatre Workshops, the play is directed by the experienced actor and director Selen Uçer. In the production, Güner Özkul—daughter of the legendary actors Münir Özkul and Suna Selen—returns to the stage after a long break, joined by Pınar Göktaş and Burak Küçükosman, whom audiences know from both stage and screen.
