Yeno Ceno Müzikarma – Music Days

December 2006 – January 2007

The program of Yeno Ceno Müzikarma brought together a wide range of musicians and groups working across genres—from ethnic music ensembles to contemporary compositions and interactive sound projects. The event featured 15 concerts, with contributions from artists such as Tolga Tüzün, Sarp Maden, and Turgut Alp Bekoğlu, alongside Betty-Ween, Transsonance, Mustafa Tınç, and the Göçebe Şarkılar Topluluğu.

The program also included student projects from Istanbul University, Bilgi University, and ITU MIAM. Sa-Ne-Na, an innovative percussion ensemble, performed a special concert dedicated to Steve Reich’s 70th birthday. The group Kumpanya took the stage with their project “Did You Say Fasıl?”, while the free improvisation group Islak Köpek contributed both with their concerts and a series of improvisation nights. The interdisciplinary performance collective Hazavuzu was featured as part of the closing event.
